Deploying and debugging apps to 2018 models

Hi,

I am confused by the information supplied by Samsung regarding deploying and debugging apps on TV models from 2018.

This page says sdb shell is ‘not available’ on 2018 models. Then it goes on to say that for sdb shell, you need to be member of a ‘partner group’, and links to a 404 Page Not Found.

Googling for ‘smarttv sellers office’ which the link seems to refer to, I found this sign up page. How does signing up for this lead to a working sdb shell when wanting to deploy and debug apps with 2018 models?

I need to know whether deploying and debugging on 2018 models is possible at all, so that I purchase the correct hardware.

Turns out debugging HTML apps works just fine on 2018 models (Tizen 4.0).

Just need to use an old browser such as this one to open the Web Inspector that Tizen Studio opens.
