Food products are suggested from the wrong country

In the latest release of the app (6.28.2.003), there has been a big change in meal recording. A code scanner has been added. In the process, however, this caused a lot of confusion and incorrect behaviour.

As of this update, the food products that can be found in the search are not from the user’s country.

In my case, I have the regions selected correctly in my phone and in my samsung account, of course I have the card of the mobile operator where I am (Poland), while the products that the app suggests to me are from Spain (the place where I bought the phone).

It seems to me that it is a completely wrong assumption to use for this some identifier completely unrelated to the location of the user.

Is there any idea for Health to go back to its previous approach and search for products (probably using an API specific to the country the user is in) according to location?

Problem exists on Samsung Galaxy S23, but assume in other devices from Samsung is the same situation.

I have the same issue suddently even though the app did not update.

An workaround is to change the phone language but i am not very excited about this.
