We would like to clarify the supported range of H.264 (AVC) reference frames on Tizen Smart TVs.

  1. What is the maximum number of reference frames supported by the H.264 decoder on Tizen?

:warning: Observed Issue

When attempting to play a video encoded with 8 reference frames, the playback fails with an error on Tizen 6.5 devices.

We have reviewed the official Media Specifications, but there is no information regarding reference frames. Could you please clarify the supported range, or confirm if this information is not documented officially?
