Two things to try. check for update from the Watch not the Wear App, contact the service provider for your mobile.

Ask around and see if anyone else with the same service provider and same locality is getting updated.

But I don’t think it’s provider dependant.
I tried from watch, disconnected from phone and I have this message “Your watch is up to date”

On Samsungmobile web site, there is no recent update :

I know it is a shot in the dark but it is a shot.
