I want to use masking to

Hey everyone, How are you doing on this fine 4th?

I’ve been wanting to simulate zooming the date (Like a Rolex magnifier), after using the wrist movement to show the watch face, possibly using masking:

  1. Magnifier_Glass (PNG)
  2. Masking Overlay (optional, hides rest of zoomed date)
  3. Date_Zoomed (bigger font, animated via gyro)
  4. Date_Original (normal text)
  5. Background

Of course, I would like help as I didn’t see an option to zoom one part of the screen. Maybe masking will work instead. But I’m unsure how to use it.

Any help or guidance would be Amazing!

Thanks,

Ken

I personally would keep it as simple as possible . In my experience Mask can not be combined with any other tags on the layers . I would cut a hole where the date shows and zoom the Numeral as you said with the gyro under the glass . If you had two images of the glass with their highlights in different places you could morph between them kicking the highlight with the Gyro . If you posted the Shape of the Lense you expected I could make a test for you . If you post the image of you background I can cut a hole in it if you cannot .
Although it is the 5th . May the 4th be with you .

you can zoom one part of the screen using gyro if that part is a separate object.
