Make an app appear in the samsung gaming hub

Is there a way to ‘tag’ the application as a game, or install it in a specific folder so it can appear in the samsung gaming hub ?
I didn’t find any information about this online and with my personal research, the only thing i found was the app_widget_category that can be game/media or nothing.

app_widget_category                   =d/game.category
app_widget_category                   =d/media.category
app_widget_category                   =------------- //in my case

In the case of my application, nothing is set, i beleive this might have to do with the config.xml of the app

Could someone clarify this for me ?

Thank you.

I don’t believe there is any documentation published yet, Can you create a Developer Support request about this, hopefully they will have an answer and that will also create an action to document this.

Thanks

I’ll sure do, thanks for your answer.
I’ll probably update the post if I get any info.

So here i am with some “answer” i guess.

From the Developer Support request :

If you are a TV game developer then for Smart TV questions, please login to Seller Office TV (Seller2.0) and Ask Question in the 1:1 Q&A section

From the Seller Office 1:1 Q&A :

Dear developer,

I hope everything is well!
If they are asking how can their app are existing on the Gaming Hub link, it’s the PM’s policy based on the

contract.
As I know, no apps are planed in this time.
Even though their app is launched on the Media hub, If their app’s category is “Game”, User can do "Add:

Home’", at that time app will be added on the Gaming Hub.
If you have another question please let you free to opena a NEW rounf og Q&A.
Best regards,

-Samsub

So here you go, i think it’s only done through publishing …
