I am wondering when to expect One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra (SM-G998U). The One UI Home version haven’t been updated since the One UI 6.0 update that released on December 1st for me.
It doesn’t look like you will be getting it soon if at all. See this Samsung News release about it
The update will be available across the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series, starting to roll out from the end of March.
For more information you should use the Samsung Members App
Since this is not relevant to Samsung Developers this topic will be removed in a few days.

The S21 will receive One UI 6.1. Samsung is also not too open with other devices, so, it could be released this March, or earlier. Time will tell
One UI 6.1 for the S21 Ultra is in internal testing and has been since January. US model is on build GXB4. Also, previous history of x.1 updates, 4.1 released in March and 5.1 in February. The S21 will also receive One UI 7.0 (Android 15) and One UI 7.1, then security patches until 2026
Great I am looking for it for my Flip5.

Basically all devices that got One UI 6.0 will receive One UI 6.1, like the S21 Ultra, it has gotten One UI 4.0, 4.1, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0. It will get 6.1 sometime in the first half of 2024 (Verizon Wireless says 1st Quarter), One UI 7.0 later this year or maybe early 2025, and One UI 7.1 in 2025. I know Samsung, and I always check test firmware on Checkfirm. You can download Checkfirm yourself and check test firmware, it’s easy.
Thanks for the insight.
I’ve decided to let this thread stay for a longer period of time as this question does come up often.

I don’t know what features the S21 Ultra will get with One UI 6.1, as it won’t get Galaxy AI. I hope it’ll get the Lockscreen Widgets and other non-AI features that 6.1 has.
I know about Samsung software and phones so much it’s like I’m a secret agent of Samsung, knowing test builds, software versions, keeping my eyes on software news, upcoming product rumors. I’m also active on Samsung Members, and I already made a suggestions post for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which won’t release until early 2025
I had ui 6.1 then it was removed by Samsung. I have no idea what is going on. I have a Galaxy S21 ultra 5G Canadian version. Does anyone have an explantion?
The Korean S22 was only pulled, the Korean S21 was not pulled, and a korean moderator advises for Korean S21 users to update to One UI 6.1. Canada is also the worst for updates, the Korean S21 already got One UI 6.1 on May 2nd.
Now the update for the Korean S22 got resumed, with a fix update
Checkfirm reported an engineering version of firmware for my Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, on my Canadian version. I have no idea if I should attempt an install and risk bricking my phone or how to even attempt this yellowware.
That is for the Post One UI 6.1 security patch, SBGXE2, bootloader turns into B. The main One UI 6.1 update test build stays GXDE
I just installed UI 6.1 on S21 Ultra 5G on my Canadian phone. Its late, so I’ll explore it Saturday. The phone is working.
