WFS not launch. App not showing not task manager

When I click the icon, app jumping in Dock then open last opened window. Reinstall not helped

macOS 12.2, MBP 2017 on Intel

I’m having the same issue.
I have searched all over the internet and no help was found.
I have a MBP 2018, running Mac OS 12.1 (Monterey) i7 Processor, 16Gb RAM and plenty of memory left.

I also manually added WFS on Full Disk Access and Accessibility permissions and that did not help.
No errors show up anywhere.

Any help is really appreciated.

I see this report in the Support Database for MBP macOS Monterey and WFS 1.1.9

Watch Face Studio is not compatible with arm-based devices.
Please install Rosetta 2 from here. After installing it, try to run WFS.

If that isn’t a solution let us know. But what you show in the video is exactly what is described in the support request.

Same problem here. MBA M1 2021, running Monterey 12.2.1.

I assume it is the same ARM issue but open a bug report.

Rosetta is used for M1 chips not able to run intel apps.
I am running an Intel i7 Processor.

Maybe I have one solution for you guys :slightly_smiling_face: Download & install version 1.0.0. Try it. Then upgrade to latest 1.1.9. It should work :slightly_smiling_face:

I found a solution for my Mac.
You have to run it as root, not sure why it was not installed with admin privileges as the user is the admin.
Anyway, here is the command you need to run on your Terminal:
sudo “/Applications/WatchFaceStudio.app/Contents/MacOS/WatchFaceStudio”

I hope this helps.

UPDATE:
Seems like every time you close and open the app, you will need to run that unix command.
