Youtube announced yesterday that it will be inserting ads to non-monetized contents like of Galaxy theme and wallpaper preview videos. This would force app shoppers at the Galaxy Store to watch ad before they can watch the app demo. It will have some impact on the sales, I hope Seller Portal adds an alternative video hosting source like developers own web servers.

This YouTube policy has started, I’m now seeing ads on some of my demo videos that are linked to my listings at Galaxy Store. My YouTube channel is not monetized, the ads are placed by YouTube. It randomly selects video to put ad in.
All of my demo video are less than 20 seconds, it’s silly to forced Galaxy Store visitors to watch 5 seconds ad for a 15 seconds demo video. I hope Seller Portal will provide alternative solution other than YouTube.
