It isn’t as simple as it seams. The Developer Support channel is basically just a way to get a US Business Developer to look at your app.
The US Store has Business Developers they will take a look at your request and then one of three things will happen.
They will reject it or ask for more information.
They will promote it but only in the US Store.
They will promote it in the US and possibly recommend it Global promotion
