Bluetooth Low Energy : allowed connection parameters SM-G991B

Hello,

I’d like to know if the Samsung smartphone model SM-G991B has a specific strategy for updating connection parameters when it receives a connection parameter update request from a connected BLE peer device.

Specifically, I have a device connected to this phone that requests a connection parameter update with a connection interval of 15ms slave latency 0 and connection supervision timeout of 4000ms. This request is most of the time accepted but sometimes rejected by some SM-G991B running the same Android version, and the final connection interval is set to 20ms by the phone (acting as the central device).

Are there any limitations related to the phone’s use of Wi-Fi/BLE or some power optimization settings that prevent it from accepting the connection parameter update request from the peripheral device?

Thank you for your help

Hello.

Is the issue consistently reproducible? If it is, then please create a support ticket in the Samsung Developer Technical Support portal detailing the issue.
