Dear Samsung Support,
We are facing an issue where certain Samsung devices are not automatically configuring the APN after installing our eSIM profile. This problem appears to be limited to Samsung devices, as other Android brands and iOS devices configure the APN correctly without manual intervention.
Details:
- Affected devices: S23 Ultra, Fold 6, Note 20, Z Flip 4, S24 Ultra, A55 (among others)
- Affected markets: USA, Canada, KSA, Qatar, Cyprus, Turkey
We suspect that this may be due to missing carrier policy or APN settings in Samsung’s internal database, since integrating the APN in the profile OMADM did not fix the issue.
Request:
- Could you confirm if Samsung supports APN auto-provisioning for new eSIM carriers via a registration or certification process?
- Can you advise how we can submit our carrier profile for inclusion in Samsung’s carrier policy configuration?
