'Fatal error' when executing app installed by knox

We have an EMM solution which can use Knox to install apps silently on devices. We are having an issue with a particular app. When the app is installed by the EMM agent without using Knox, with user manual intervention, it executes normally on first open. But when the app is installed ‘silently’, with Knox, on first opening it produces a ‘Fatal Error’ message. We think that some particular characteristic / property of the application, or of the apk package, is preventing Knox to install the app correctly. Does anyone have any hint of what could it be, so that we can help the app developer to change it?
