I am trying to play hls stream which is https on samsung 2015. When i call prepareAsync it stays in IDLE state and keeps buffering. It uses Tizen 2.3.
I tried setting webapi.avplay.setStreamingProperty("PREBUFFER_MODE", "5000") but found that even after prepareAsync succeeded, the player remained in “IDLE” state. You might want to test if this affects your case as well.
