Issue with Watch Face Studio not installing on the latest macOS

Did you followed these below steps?

  1. Open System Preferences (click on the Apple logo).
  2. Click on Security & Privacy.
  3. From the General tab, under Allow apps downloaded from, click Open Anyway next to the “WatchFaceStudio.pkg was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.”
  4. A window displays the message “macOS cannot verify the developer of WatchFaceStudio.pkg. Are you sure you want to open it?” Click Open to install Watch Face Studio.

No these directions are out of date for MacOS, but also they are recommending steps that Apple do not advise.

Yes, from a few lines above in your message when you said

From the General tab, under Allow apps downloaded from, click Open Anyway

Here are some instructions on how to get the app notarized. It’s only one more step in the app creation process and means you don’t need to continue to advise people to bypass security warnings on their computers.
