Has anyone had this problem? I can’t add a new watch face package to the Google Store. When I upload an ABB file I get this message in the console.
An error occurred while executing the “bundletool build-apks” command on the app bundle you uploaded. Please verify that the bundle is valid by executing the “bundletool build-apks” command on it locally and try again. More information Error: Watch face base module cannot have any components and can only have resources.
I have the latest version of WFS. So far there have been no problems with it. I’ve added over 300 apps.
Thanks for all the ideas on how to solve this problem.
By the way, has anyone on the forum added projects created in WFS 1.7.13 to Google or Samsung stores?
I realized that I won’t be able to run new projects on the old version and I won’t be adding them to stores this year.
I got the same message on a recent upload to Google Console and someone suggested in this thread to turn off “App Integrity Protection” and it worked for me.
I disabled integrity checks and protection against installation from external sources (because in this case google adds its own garbage to the file, maybe that’s it).
I managed to add the aab package. Thanks for the tip @MergeLabs
But the order in the Google console has become even less logical. It looks like they want to discourage us from adding their applications. I keep sending watch faces to the Samsung store for the Chinese market and the adding process there is much shorter.
You’re welcome. I have a Samsung seller portal account but that looks more confusing than Google Play Console. I don’t even understand how your supposed to get rating certificates and then upload scans of them?
@Redacted probably just like Google, Samsung has come up with new difficulties. Nothing like that is displayed for me. But I create and add Samsung watch faces on both platforms, and later for other companies, almost from the very beginning.
