Power remote control keys via WebSocket interface

Hi there,

I use ONE remote control for my Home Theater PC (HTPC) to control all devices, including the TV.
For this purpose I send remote control keys from my HTCP via the WebSocket interface to the TV.

Here’s a code example Samsung Smart TV - Home Assistant).

All codes work fine but there’s no response to the KEY_POWERON and KEY_POWEROFF commands.
KEY_POWER for toggling the power status works.

I see notes that the supported keys vary between TV models.
Is there any chance to add support on the Samsung QN85C TV series?

This should’t mean much efforts and would be highly appreciated.

thanks for your reply.
I just tried to follow your advice. This platform is for applications which run on the TV device. I need to upload an application package to ask questions.
However, my application doesn’t run on the TV device but on a Windows device und remotely connects to the TV using the WebSocket interface.
What’s the right platform for my question?
