How does one create a watch battery progess stick
Weather_health_D_C.wfs.zip (277.9 KB)
as opposed to watch progress bar?
@rac1594221785 Here is your Test Back . I am not a Mathematician so you will have to excuse all the ((())) . Also the formula may look complex but you will see it is in the descriptive style . It can be reduced to one factor and an offset like the ones you used for rotating your text/numbers. Nice trick I have not seen that before . See bonus Colour Morphing . Obviously you have to draw a dot / hand to be the right size at the correct radius . It is possible to use Orbiting Formulas but that is a bit more Complex . Let us know if that is not what you meant .

Thanks for the response. I didn’t explain my question correctly. Under the battery in the first watch face. you have watch battery progress mask, watch battery progress bar, watch face progress stick. Do I need to create the mask first? If so how? I click on mask and I don’t see any change.
Sorry for the miss direction.
Nahh . Sorry I do not understand at all . Watch Face Progress Stick . You will have to explain what you mean in another way .
You do not need any external resources, everything needed is in the default sample folder of the WFS. Unzip and check this example:
DashboardTicks.zip (639.6 KB)
@rac1594221785 Did you not Make the Watch Face File yourself . Peter is showing you that those TICKS are made with the " Canned " Index Layer in the parts drop down .
No I didn’t make the watch face. I’m trying to replicate it so I can add background picture and add seconds.
Whet did you get the File from ?
From the Samsung galaxy wear app.
Please tell us how you extract the .wfs file . If you know how to do that I kind of guess you could analise how the Ticks / Sticks are working with that Progress Bar .
I notice they are called Sticks in WFS . Did not know that .
I didn’t extract the wfs file. I’ve looked all over the web to see how to extract the wfs file. I’d have to root the phone and do some more research to see where the file is located. I found gearwatchdesigner easier to learn. I have learned that the stick is created by using the index function and an image of one tick. Then in the index properties tell it how many ticks you want.
PS if you know how to extract the wfs. I sure would like to know how.
Please Excuse me but where did you get the " Weather_health_D_C.wfs " file From. The point is if you did not compose it , perhaps contacting the author would help . Yes . You use the index Layer and build it as Shown . You obviously know about making a Masked Layer . So you are there now .
I’m not sure where I got that file. It is currently in my sample projects folder in watchfacestudio. I think I found it in one of the many searches that I did. I checked my download history and it is not there. I checked my sample projects that came with watchface studio and it is there. The date of all the files are the same. So I think that is where I found the file.
Brilliant . That is one of Samsungs Flagship Faces . The one you have is without the Complications . I have loads of stuff associated with conversations on here . I tend to file them in a folder with a refrence to their names .
. Do you know how to Mask the Sticks now or do you still need help ?
I think so. I should be able to figure it out. If here was supposed to be a link it’s not a link.
No . I put it in Quotations to avoid confusion . I wanted to differentiate with the one I modified .
I thought that you were creating a link to the consversations here
No Mate . The Topic is the Link .
