Galaxy watch studio (or earlier named Galaxy watch designer) is tool for creating watch faces for watches with Tizen OS. Unfortunately, Samsung decided to ditch their own OS and cooperate with Google to adopt new version of wearOS (v.3 back in fall 2021). They later closed the Galaxy store for new entries and GWS/GWD remained solely as tool for DIY faces for older watches. Earlier you asked about ultra and regular watches, so I assume you have newer watch and Watch face studio is the tool you should focus on.
I can see at least one example using the gyro sensor data among the samples coming with WFS.
Correct. i just got an GW7 last week. I did see that swimming pool file. But the video i watched had more examples.
Last night, i tried making my first watchface. I bumped into some hiccups like name style items and such. But after some fiddling around, it works quite nice. I do run into some issues when you want to disconnect items from the theme-colors. Very fast the project grows large when you work with mask to add color options.
But, i made a watchface design which has a background which responds to gyroscope. Now its one image. My idea is to add more. But im already a bit scared that it will be to taxing on the cpu
Some of my ideas i had, cant be done. I wanted to add a compass, but that data is not available. What i wonder, one of the stockwatches does have a buildin compass. I tried looking for making custom complication, but saw something about using android dev tools. But im not sure how. to pull such items then into watchface studio
