I propose adding a feature to merge all outgoing, incoming, and missed calls into a single entry for each contact in the Phone app. The goal of this feature is to improve call log organization and make it easier to search for past calls without navigating through multiple entries for the same number.
Proposal Details:
When viewing the call log, all calls related to the same contact should be grouped into a single entry.
Users can tap on the contact to view full call details, including the time of each call and its status (incoming, outgoing, missed).
Reduces duplication in the call log, making navigation easier and enhancing the overall user experience.
An option in the settings to enable or disable this feature for those who prefer the traditional method.
Benefits:
Makes the call log more organized and visually clear.
Helps users find call history for any contact without cluttering the list with unnecessary duplicates.
Improves user experience, similar to what is available in some other phone apps.
