Hello… I’m trying to toggle the blue light filter status by changing the system setting “blue_light_filter” value from 1 to 0 etc…, but it only works for an interim amount of time after manually triggering the blue light quicktile, supposedly there is some sort of broadcast sent or different settings that are changed for this to work as intended.
Any help is appreciated.
Are you doing this programmatically or via the Eye Comfort Shield setting?

I’m doing it programmatically, specifically via Automate, but changing the setting “blue_light_filter” has no effect, unless I activate the setting manually via the quicktile or its respective place in the Display menu, then changing the system setting “blue_light_filter” works but only for a few minutes and then I have to retrigger the filter again manually.
From what I’ve seen on StackOverflow changing Android system settings programmatically is near impossible to do but that was an old thread.
I’d suggest you ask this on the Android forums and if you don’t get any answer one way or the other on that then create a support request.
