Buffers did not monotonically increase- error on Samsung 2020

Hi All,

We are testing HLS 3 streams on Samsung 2020 TV and are getting HLS’s non fatal error BufferAppendingError followed by Video Element’s error saying “Buffers did not monotonically increase”.

The same streams are working fine with all other Samsung TV models.(2019,2018)
Anyone has came across the same, kindly help.

Hi All,

We found HLS has problem switching between H.264 profiles in Samsung 2020 alone.

Is there any feature deprecated?

Kindly help.
