Welcome to the Samsung Developer forum. We do not help determine who does or does not receive commercial seller status. This is determined solely by the Seller Portal team. However, we can offer you guidance about the approval process:
It can take several days to be approved for commercial seller status.
It can take up to 10 business days to verify your D‑U‑N‑S number.
It can take up to 10 business days to verify your international bank account.
If you receive an email from the Seller Portal team, please read it closely to see if they are asking you to add or update information you have provided (and if you need to resubmit your application).
If you receive a rejection email, read it carefully. It should tell you why your application was rejected/what needs to be fixed. If there is no explanation, contact the Seller Portal team for more information.
If it has been more than 2-3 weeks since you have submitted your commercial seller application, contact the Seller Portal team and ask if there was something wrong with your application.
To contact the Seller Portal support team: from Seller Portal, click Help > Contact us, then click Contact us at the Customer Center (near the bottom of the page). If a pop-up with “Did you mean samsung.com?” appears, close the pop-up.
My commercial seller status has not been approved 20 days since I submitted the request on behalf of my organization. I have tried contacting the customer service but when I click on Help in my account, the portal doesn’t navigate to the page where there’s “contact us” at the bottom of the page to enable me post my enquiry to the support team. Is there any issue with the portal?
When you click Contact us in the submenu, then another page opens on which you can find the Contact us at the Customer Center link at the bottom of the page.
I submitted a request for Commercial Seller status 20 days ago, and the application had been showing as “In Progress” for most of that time.
However, I have noticed that the status has reverted to “Request Commercial Seller Status” without any email notification or explanation. I am concerned about this unexpected change and would like to understand what may have caused it, and whether there are any issues or actions required on our part to proceed.
We are eager to complete the process and begin offering our services through the Galaxy Store. Your guidance and clarification on this matter will be highly appreciated.

If there is no change to your Seller Portal status and you don’t receive a notification about your application in the next week, you can contact them and ask if there is additional information you can provide to help with the verification or if there is something wrong with your application.
