Design a watchFace for Fit3

I design and publish themes on Galaxy Store.
I would like to release watchFaces for the Galaxy Fit 3, based on RTOS and available for free download.

¿Is there such a possibility?, contact the developers of the Samsung Wear App.
To include these watchFaces and a series of features that would improve the functionalities of this band.

I’ll put it another way.
The Galaxy Fit 3 has RTOS, ¿can we modify the software to add the watches we want?

Hi MKC,
I found another post which might be helpful. Fit 3 uses FreeRTOS as its operating system. Based on what I’ve found there is no way to install any Watchfaces or Apps other than the ones already there.

I bought one of the Xiaomi smartbands, which also have FreeRTOS and allow you to customize the watch faces. The format in which the spheres must be created in order to be published on the smartBand is documented.

So I have two options.

  • Create my own app and publish it on the Galaxy Store, where I can create my watch face designs and upload them to the Fit 3.

  • Request permission from Samsung to publish the watch faces you design within the Galaxy Wear app.

This really sucks, wanted to create , own custom face too, hope this changes in the near future.

Let’s not lose hope. Maybe if we ask as a group for them to stop publishing, they’ll listen to us.

I regret buying this band instead of choosing Xiaomi. Not only do apps like “Sleep as Android” not work, but the watch doesn’t even allow creating custom watch faces? The features are extremely limited.

Let’s see if any reviewer sees this post and Samsung listens to us, and opens the option to publish watchFaces.

I guess they won’t let you create anything to customize watch faces, because they want us to get bored about the Fit3, and purchase a Galaxy watch 7 or 8 where you can easily customize watch faces, but the battery is really bad (among other flaws).

Galaxy Fit Series is RTOS based. So 3rd party app or watch face will not work.It is developed for health purpose with limited features.

Yes, for customization, you can go for Galaxy Watch 4 to 8.
