[HR] tags it not synced with Samsung Health’s heartrate result. [HR] will only update heart rate value when “Tap to Measure” action is triggered. My guess is that [HR] gets data directly from the hardware sensor when “Tap to Measure” is triggered. If Samsung Health heartrate is set to measure every 10 minutes, the most recent result from S Health will not get updated on [HR]. Correct, not yet updated to wear os 3.0, maybe that’s it.

If I have time later, I will try again with a continous HR messurement to see if it works.

Does anyone know what is the AppID of the app that measures the heart rate?
It would be to put, that it opened in one touch, because reading the beat when clicking, it’s buggy.

Hi Matteo.

Have you tried the Galaxy Watch Studio Converter software?
If you convert a sphere of yours, you will see that the heart rate measurement is correct and by tapping the application will speak.

Hi Sergio,

I only converted 2 watches with GWS Converter. Heart rate works better but these watch faces will only be compatible with Samsung GW4 (no third party devices) and you can’t get all the other customization features.

My watch faces were rejected by Google due to the heart rate sensor is not working. They changed publish status as reject. What can I do? Will we have to wait for a new version for WFS? Will we not design till coming the new WFS? Is there a solution at least temporarily?

Hi Cem,

An update to WFS is coming which has a fix for this heartrate issue
Sometimes the [HR_IS_MEASURING] tag gets stuck in position 1 (ON) for a long time and does not show heart rate.

But I suspect the reason it was rejected is that heartrate does not work unless it is worn and manually triggered. Can you add comments to the reviewer like you can in Samsung Seller Portal?

I think that is the bug that is fixed. The [HR_IS_MEASURING] is not working right and the after a bit the heartrate does not show.

But it could also be the reviewer does not wear a device but testing on a brick. so it doesn’t show any heartbeat.

Yes, when new version will be released ? Hope that new version will add some new functions, like distance, speed, calories burned, altitude(actual and max), total ascend.

I have to get pedantic about the term “new version” it took Galaxy Watch Designer over 3 years to have a “New Version”.
There will be an update released soon.

Hello Ron, thank you so much for your interest.
I have a new problem. This time, Google reject my other watch face due to the buttons are not working. I tested on the emulator and I couldn’t see any problem. I have Samsung Galaxy S3 Classic. Unfortunately, I don’t have Watch 4. Samsung smartwatches are so expensive in Turkey this is why for now I can only test them on Emulator. Is there a suggestion? Thank you so much for your support.

PS: I realized that there are a lot of devices in the device catalogue on Play Store. I removed all of them except the Samsung Watch 4. I was using import GWD resource on Watch face Studio. This time, I added heart rate manually on my watch face and uploaded the new version on Play Store. I will inform you after the review.

I realized that there are a lot of devices in the device catalogue on Play Store. I removed all of them except the Samsung Watch 4. I was using import GWD resource on Watch face Studio.

I thought that might have been the issue a lot of sellers that converted .tpk to .aab missed that only GW4 was compatible.

There have been several reports of Heartrate not working correctly in WFS but I haven’t seen it in the converted GWS watchfaces.
