How to estimate HRM

Samsung Smartwatch’s the measurement time of PPG heart rate is about 10 to 15 seconds.
It looks like an algorithm estimates the HRM(Heart rate per minute).
I want to know how the estimation algorithm works.

As shown in the attached image,
I would like to confirm that the HRM is estimated by calculating the number of ‘systolic peaks’ and ‘peak-to-peak interval’.

Samsung Health is a proprietary algorithm and is not public. You might want to ask this on one of the Tizen developer sites or search for examples on github.

I’m impressed as you seem to have gotten much further than everyone else!!
