Hello,
I am currently working on a project to integrate Samsung Smart Tag 2 with an Android device.
The primary goal is to use UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology to fetch accurate distance data from the Smart Tag 2.
What I’ve Found and Tried So Far:
- Utilizing UWB Technology:
- Samsung Smart Tag 2 uses UWB for precise distance measurement.
- I’ve learned that accessing UWB data might require an SDK or specific APIs provided by Samsung, but I’m struggling to locate the necessary documentation.
- Exploring SmartThings API:
- I’ve reviewed the SmartThings API for managing Locations and Devices, but I couldn’t find any endpoints that directly provide distance data from the Smart Tag 2.
Assistance I’m Looking For:
- Accessing UWB Data:
- Are there any Samsung-provided SDKs or libraries for working with UWB, specifically to retrieve distance data from the Smart Tag 2 on Android?
- Using SmartThings API:
- Has anyone successfully used the SmartThings API to fetch data from a Samsung Smart Tag? If so, could you share guidance or examples?
Additional Questions:
- Are there any Samsung developer forums or other resources where I can find detailed documentation or support for this?
- If anyone has worked on a similar project, I’d greatly appreciate hearing about your experiences or any sample code you could share.
Thank you for your time and support!
