Hi, I’m a photographer in Canada was looking into submitting some of my work for consideration for the store, but when I tried to sign up, it would only accept a zip code. I looked, but couldn’t find a similar page on the Samsung Canada page.
I’m not sure what you are trying to do but you can’t upload images to the store. Theme/Wallpaper designers is a closed ecosystem. You can learn more about the process on THIS PAGE.
Sorry, I guess with their being multiple types of registrations I wasn’t specific enough.
I know you have a vetting process for the things that go onto your store. When I tried to register as someone interested in applying, it only allowed for a zip code, which, was impossible since I live in Canada.
So, I was wondering if there is another page for Canadians, which I couldn’t find on the Canadian site, or if you don’t accept Canadian content creators?
There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of content creators from all over the world, including many from Canada. I would suggest you try again using your postcode instead of zip code
I will, thank-you. But when I did try, the problem was that a zip code is 5 digits correct? A Canadian postal code is 6, and the form stops allowing additional characters at 5.
Still, maybe I missed something. A drop down box that lets me change it to Canada or something. I’ll look again.
Sorry, it’s been so long since I applied, it may have changed, I just wanted to let you know you can apply. Ron will provide input with current info I’m sure
You are right, there are really only 5 digits. I wrote the ones that got in and after registration my location changed to “USA” I had to fix it on my real country through the support service. This is not very important until you work at the store.
From what I understand you have a vetting process coming up, but I’m not sure exactly when it is. Do you think this will be fixed by then, and if not, should I just put in a partial postal code and then go through support?
Edit: I’m surprised, with all the people you look at, that I’m the first one to bring this up.
