Oh I am on the same Version . You understand that File I sent is not Zipped . We just add the fake .ZIP to get the Platform to send it . You just delete the .ZIP bit only an it is a standard .wfs file which will open when you click on it . Don’t unzip it .
This evening I was holding my phone and at exactly 9:14 PM it went into dark mode. So I wondered if it could somehow be used via the API or what it is used for.

There is No Low Intelligence . Just the Beginning of Learning . It took me 2 years to remember any Tags at all . I will DM you there or catch me on the Community . I found a solution to change the display based on sunrise and sunset. Although it is also a bit clumsy and may not suit some, besides, it is probably only for Samsung phone owners. And another clumsiness is that two dials are needed. one for day the other for night.
Then you just need to use the transition of the phone to dark mode, which changes automatically according to sunrise and sunset. For this, it is necessary to set in the modes and routines, when the dark mode is turned on, the clock face changes, when the dark mode is turned off, the clock face switches back to primary. In this case, set the dial for the day.
As I wrote, it’s also a pain in the ass, but maybe someone can handle it before the developers make this function available in WFS

Nice out of the box idea. You would have to create two watch faces, one for each part of day and set the android app to switch them. I guess otherwise you would have to make two designs within one face anyway, so that is not so hard.
On platforms where it can be incorporated in one face, usually sunrise and sunset times are provided by third party weather info service, depending on your location.
If it is not, there is also a super complicated formula for calculating times of sunrise and sunset, but it also requires your actual location. And while WFS does not provide third party weather info, nor the location to be used, it is both ways a dead end.

Yes, I know that it is necessary to make two versions of the dial, I also mentioned that. None the less, if someone decides to make this style of dial, they have to make the graphic anyway. And I wrote that it is also backbreaking and imperfect, but it might be enough for someone for the time being. I’m not saying that everyone has to do it that way, it’s just another alternative solution. For me, maybe better than the solution help you gave here. I used it, but I ran into a problem that the color of the font should also be changed, and I couldn’t figure it out. I had to set one universal color for both modes.
