Tell me how to make it possible to choose the time display in with or without zeros.
My watch face uses 2 text fields - for hours and minutes.
There are WFS tags for leading zero that work fine . This is something a friend of mine showed me . It is a combination of Mask And style . A bit of Voodoo to me but it is achievable . Of course the in that Time is changed with STYLE . As you see this is 12/24/utc hrs . If you don’t get it from the Screengrab I can make you stand alone test .
.
My situation is a little more complicated than in the screenshot. My background is not monotonous and the numbers rotate with the arrows.
You can rotate / orbit the Masks and Numbers / Text .
I don’t quite understand how I can implement switching on a transparent background [MIN] > [MIN_Z]
Ok . I see so you can not with opacity . But you coud do it by shifting the position . I am not exactlt certain what you are trying to do . The Transpsrent Frame is usualy patt of a Nask stet up . The other bring an opaque Image often White .
The hands of the clock are transparent, so I can’t use a mask.
So you are using the Preset Analogue setup . No you can not . When I am doing something special I use the hands as images and work out the Angle of rotation for myself . Then you can use a Mask . You are trying to dismiss the Hands with a Tap on the Display right ?
No, I don’t want to remove the hands. I want to make it possible to choose whether to display the first “0” in hours and minutes.
Ha Ha . Now I understsnd . If you look at the Tags for Minutes and hours you will see there are those with leading Zero and those not . So now we have to establish under what condition you want them to change .
I want the dial settings to be able to select
There is a system Default 12/24 set on your Phone . Obviously you dont want to do that . I am sure we can do it with a Style setting . If you could post your .wfs file here I could look at it and see if I can get it to work then send it back to you . The alternative is , I make simplified test .
You post a file here by simply adding .ZIP to the file name .
Unfortunately, this is hard to explain. It can be done with using styles and masking.
There would have to be two versions of both text fields (in case you allow for 12/24h format setting with conditional line, then the of all 3 fields), one with leading zero, the other without. There also would have to be two masking images (one for each version), for each field each with two style options. One will start as fully opaque with transparent style option and the other in reverse order. When all placed and used as mask on related text fields, use style customization editor to merge all the styles under one setting. they will then all be choosing first or second option simultaneously.
I recorded how I would do it. Since the mask images have same size and purpose I prepared them once and then multiplied for each text field. Maybe I overcomplicated it with the 2 extra hour texts for 12/24h option, dont let it distract you, the principle is the same, all leading zero texts get masking image with same style order, all the non-leading-zero texts get masking image with the other style order

Gosh . Amazing Peter as always . Thank you . Master Tutorial Topic Bookmarked .
Thank you for the tremendous work you have done. How do I implement this, given the transparency of the clock hands and the uneven background?
Well done posting your WIP . It has got a bit complex for me . I have two choices . To strip it down or start something more simple . I see you are thinking 24 hrs on a 12 hour rotation . The think is Peter has Covered the whole thing in his Amazing tutorial Video . I think you should work through and show us where you get stuck .
In Peter’s example, the background is black. In my case, the hands of the clock are transparent, and the background is not monochrome. Because of this, I can’t use masks.
I am making a simple test .
You will see the background is irrelevant .
But you see @Peter has already made a fantastic test .
He might post it here for us to look into .
Thank you very much, everything worked out. You’re a genius.
Like Russell mentioned, the masking in this case is effect that is applied directly only from one layer to another and nothing else gets involved.
You can unzip and check attached file for yourself.
Hands3.zip (448.5 KB)
Also maybe you would want to give custom names to the options.
