Open Shell option not working on Tizen Studio

I connected my samsung tv 6.0 to tizen studio. I am trying to run some shell commands on the tv, however, when I click on the “Open Shell” option in the device manager, I get nothing.
Additionally, I tried using sdb for this same purpose. I was able to connect to the tv using sdb. But When I send shell command using:
sdb -d shell
for example:
sdb -d shell echo “Hello”
I get an error saying target on found.
When I send:
sdb shell
I get closed.
Also, when I run the command:
sdb root on
I get, permission denied
