Hello.
I want to add a skin for android emulator. I followed all the instructions here. However, when I choose custome skin definition in the settings, and click finish, it automatically returns the “no skin” option again.

After many attempts, I solved this problem very simply. I reinstalled the android sdk and everything started working.

Hi, I had the same problem in:
Android Studio Hedgehog | 2023.1.1
macOS 14.2.1
But, I solved the problem selecting another skin already registered in Android Studio, for e.g. “nexus_10” or any other skin in the dropdown and saved.
Try again and select the correct skin (Samsung…), and saved (Finish button). Then everything works perfectly.
