PW3 watch face custom options lag

Hi all,

I’ve noticed pretty much all watch faces made with WFS tend to lag when selecting its customisation options on the PW3. Is this normal across most watches or is this a PW3 thing?

For example if the watchface allows multiple colour options, and you’re on the watch scrolling through them with the watch’s crown, you might scroll down to “green” but the display shows the “blue” option which was a few colours prior on the list, but yet says “green” at the bottom. Then if you select that option, you’ll get the green face, etc.

The issue seems to be a device-specific issue. If you have the issue still now, you can report it through Dev Support | Samsung Developer . Please share a sample project along with a brief description of the issue and device information (software version, model name etc.)

This is across every single watchfacestudio app on my PW3 though, and I’ve tested it on a galaxy watch and it doesn’t happen. So I assume this is a biproduct of samsung making the app and it not working 100% on google watches?

I had the same experience with my mother’s phone (Pixel Watch 3).

When customizing the watch face directly on the watch, the selected option on the drop down list is sometimes simply not activated when you click it.
