Smart TV can't communicate with self-signed CA Certificate

Our company has a web application that runs on the Samsung QB13R-T SmartTV. I am working on a server that communicates with it via https. My server has a self-signed certificate but the Smart TV will not accept the certificate. When I run the Tizen Browser on the Smart TV and try to connect to the server via https, I get the following message “There is a problem with this webpage’s security certificate.” However, the Tizen Browser allows me to proceed by clicking the “Access Anyway Option”. At that point, the page loads successfully. Calling backend apis on our server fails because the certificate is not trusted. Is there a way that I can get the Smart TV to trust the certificate? In production, we have trusted certificates but in development it is just self-signed. Thank you for the help!

The Smart TV support prefers to respond in the Smart TV Seller Office.

I would suggest you look for an answer in the FAQ-Q/A under the most appropriate topic on the Smart TV Seller Office site I didn’t notice anything that would help but you may find something. If you don’t find a solution there then sign in and open a Smart TV Seller Support Request . They can help you better there.

I hope you get a satisfactory response from them
