Sweep rotate greater than 1

To faster u want the movement to be the higher the fps has to be to be smooths

In my caculations

Example *6 at 15fps is smooth because each frame is only 0.4 degrees movement

So if u use x18 to make it three times faster.
But maintain that 0.4 degrees per frame
You need 45 frames per second
Or else you will see big jump per frame

At 15fps each jump is 1.2 degress

Distance between each “frame” also effect the smoothness…( doing 3 times a minute even at 15 hz will look like the hands is teleporting by 1.2 degrees every 66 msec where idea it should move only 0.4 or less)

So follow guidelines up to 60hz is best so you can have up to 4 rounds per minute

Actually what the purpose of the sweep? Tell time on animation?

Why not try image sequence which is at 15 frames per sec?

Erm realise unless u have a animation tools u need to hand draw 300 frames

No. It is the nature of human eye/brain where is the limit. No matter how fast is the movement, we can not perceive on endlessly high rate. That is why movies are taken at 25 fps and nobody complains they would not be “smooth”.

But… at 25hz yes there are some gamers complian its not smooth?

Ppl those who dont complain havnt seen higher then 25hz so dont know there better…so its relatively

Eitherwise i think i understand where u coming from
Because many frames per second our brain wont be able to notices the distance in btw frames?

15hz is max what Samsung watches are limited to display, so what are we discussing here?

Discussing what is the best hz to ask for so original post will be smooth at 3 rounds per minute.

Not what the watch limited…

It so we can post a feature request.

And i suggested push to 45hz but its wishful thinking…

But we clearly have different opinion and i just stated my disagreement on your 25hz comment.

Anyway…i just stating my observations…because when i do x6 and x18 the x18 is more jumpy…that why i thought its because of distance in degree change is larger

Could be because limit to 10hz and my eyes can catch each frame

Ok, maybe I am missing something. In my opinion perceiving digitalized movement as smooth is possible, if its frame rate reaches or exceeds the human capabilities and in same time it is a whole multiple of the native display refresh rate. Even calculated 25FPS could show some glitches when ever some frame would not fit to the 15Hz refresh rate. I will try to film something from other platform that does not reduce the miliseconds to deciseconds.

Its ok. Noted on your point.

Anyway i think even 15hz for tag is impossible anyways…unless something moves them.

I Believe modern TV Monitors are running at 100hz . The issue is . Even if 10hz was the best Samsung could give us it is still useless with the Glitch and 15hz would not improve it as the glitch is on the second . Even the Unix timer carries the glitch .
