After the OneUI 7.0 update, TTS is not working properly. But, the Samsung representative said that it’s the normal behavior due to change in Samsung internal policy decision for TTS and it’s work normally on Samsung App itself. It’s all normal behavior they said. In particular, the latest Galaxy S25 model has almost no TTS voice usability, so it is difficult to understand that this phenomenon is simply the result of a policy decision. When updating to OneUI 7.0, TTS Voice selection is not applied, which appears to be a bug and separate from the policy issue. This is a very serious problem for TTS users. Prompt action is needed.
Especially if there is a change in Samsung’s TTS policy, such an important decision should be notified to customers and developers in advance. I hope Samsung will be more careful about changing the policy. We strongly hope that this incorrect policy on TTS will be withdrawn immediately.
