Watch Face Studio -- Draw circle outline

Hi,
I am new to WFS, so please forgive elementary question.
I can add a circle to my face design using add component > shape> etc.
But this gives me a filled circle.
How do I get a circle outline ?

Hi @kenarton10 welcome to the forum, i moved the topic to the correct category.

Anyway if i not wrong to my recallation, you cant get outlines in wfs natively . Only way is to create a image of the outline using image editor like paint/photoshop and import the image into wfs

Alternatively do a work around. Using two circle shapes. And overlap them. One circle is smaller then the other. And the smaller circle the color of your background/canvas color

You can fake it with circular progress bar filled to 100% Just adjust its thickness and “curving”.

A fixed 100% progress bar… good idea

Progress bar works fine – gives me a nice circle.
Thanks all for your help.

Another query:
The preview pane, eg for Analogue Hands, does not work – it just shows me the generic icon. Or am I missing something?

Hi, Here is a screenshot.

Well, I clicked on the upload icon, and it seemed to do something, and above line of text appeared.
I hope it is visible

Master class for us Newbies . Thank you .
@kenarton10 are you on an Apple Mac ?

Apologies, my fault, I had file explorer properties set to “always show icons”.
OK now. Thanks

Hi Russell, I am on Windows 11.

This would definitely be a good feature to add, outline shapes was one of the first things I looked for when I opened the software. Putting a shape over the shape is a fine workaround but it’d be nice to be able to just hit ‘outline’ and enter a width.

Hi,@BunnyViking you can do what peter answered
