So I created the group New watchface testing
We can test out our watchfaces and meet the (stupid) Google Play requirements.
This is not an exclusive group - anyone can join.

I know, google groups sounds ancient but believe it or not, you can add a google group as a tester and anyone in the group can click the invite and join your test.
Actually, this is pretty clever. I can share my free watchfaces without even having to release them on the Play Store. I can just post the link in the group and anyone who wants can click on the link to get them.
And everyone knows a watchface is thoroughly examined by Google before allowed into closed testing, with privacy policies etc.
So when they say 14 days of testing, does that mean the watch has to be set to that face for the entire time, or can we still switch faces around during that time? This was something my potential testers asked me, and I didn’t have an answer.
PS Just joined the group. It’s exciting for us to get together and help each other out.
As a bystander I understand that the Face just has to be on the watch . I think perhaps you are supposed to offer a Testers Review .
As far as I know the watchface needs to be installed on the watch for 14 days. And also I think (I’m not sure) that the user need to interact with the app/watch face atleast a little bit. Because one of my app once got rejected saying it was not tested enough, even though it had enough testers for 14 days.
Yes I have been told that in order to actually test the watch face, you have to actively engage with it. For example, switching complications or color options if they are available on the particular watch face.
