August is almost over???

I thought this might happen when they originally announced they were working on a new version to be released in August.

When is planned the next release of WFS?

@Jakia.Sultana, can you give us a more specific date yet? First week of August? Last week of August (I hope not!)? Developers who are depending on this new Watch Face Studio release to keep Google from deleting their work will need enough time between your release and the end of August to update all their watch faces. New Target API 33 for watch face: when the new Watch Face Studio?

I am still concerned that when they say “within August, 2024” it will end up meaning the end of August, 2024 rather than the beginning. Even if they release on 8/1/24, that doesn’t leave very much time for the developers with a lot of watch faces to update all of them in time.

I’m thankful they decided to release the 1.6.10 patch for us with the SDK 33 target update rather than making everyone scramble to meet Google’s deadline when they finally do release this one.
