Note for OnePlus watch users:
You might get a warning that the face is “incompatible.” That’s just OnePlus being overly cautious with complex designs. Go ahead and hit “install anyway” — it works just fine.
And today I learned to never create a “track” by mistake for phones. They can’t be deleted!
I think i fixed the problem with the “your device is not supported” message. Let me know if it works for you.
Track and even apps cannot be deleted, just unpublished. I am sure most developers have a bunch of apps sitting in their app lists reminding them of how hard it is to get apps published on Google Play, especially when you are first starting out. It’s not hard now for me but I can’t get complacent as one never knows when Google is going to come up and bite me right in the @$$. 
It’s because you dont have a companion app and only have a Wear OS version for install. When you search for the watch face on anything other than a Wear OS device such as a phone or tablet, because you dont have a companion app, it will say your device is not supported. Nothing to do with complexity of design.

I don’t think so. If I open the download link in Firefox on my laptop it gives me a button “install on other device” and then I can select my watch and it does the install. But why does it only find my phone and not my watch in the actual Play Store app?? There is a drop down where I could select another device but it only shows the phone - however if I select “manage” my watch is listed.
I truly don’t like the Play Store Console. It’s confusing. I really feel for you who make watchfaces for a living.

If you are using your phone to search on Play Store it will show your phone in the drop down because you are logged into Google. You watch is not a default device if you’re using your phone but it is in your known devices so that’s why you can see it in “manage”. BTW, I dont make watch faces for a living. I would have better results picking up empty cans from the streets.
