Just a simple question.
In previous WFS versions (1.6.10 and lower) we had to disable Google Play auto-protection or we would get an error message when we tried to upload our watch faces. Is the problem solved with 1.8.x?

totally agree with this.
the lack of support for auto-protection in WFS makes it too easy for watch face designs to be pirated.
Enabling it would really help protect the rights and creativity of designers.
Hope this gets addressed soon.
Keep dreaming…
We reported this more than two years ago, but it has never been taken into account.
I mean, these are basic issues and should be addressed with a quick hotfix.
I suspect that the problem is with WFF rather than WFS. I’ve published a few watchfaces using WFF XML rather than WFS, and I’ve had to disable that protection to get them through the Play console. If I’m right, Samsung can’t fix the problem; only Google can.
Yes, same here, the problem is with WFF/google policies… it happens because of the stupid thing of not having code inside the .aab for watch faces.
