Hello folks, I use watchface studio for a little while, I found some features interesting but I found the lack of two simple features that would increase the customizable of watch face on a different level.
- a “tap event” like a button, for image / text / shape not limited on animations only
- an ID - Name attribute to call other object specs
I give a simple example of what I mean:
a simple (one of default templates on the app) watchface, could be awesome have the way to “tap”/“click” on the “seconds” progress bar and make visible a text with the current seconds on digits like this:
for a few seconds or until the next tap or standby.
This will require a “tap” event for a shape/zone of the watch (or object) that would trigger the opacity of different elements (0 for the step hands, 100 for the text for example)
I know there are tags to play with opacity, but you can’t tag another made object inside your watch face for reference.
I will use a feature like this to show battery level on click instead of a fixed text in case of a minimal/elegant analog clock, to show the name of the current day, to show a full data maybe.
What do you think about it?
maybe just a better condition line will do the trick…
If someone have already a workaround about this kind of interactivity will be awesome if you can share it with me, otherwise I’d like to know what you think, whether it’s worth proposing as a feature for a possible future.
(sorry for my english, it’s not my first language)
