Air Command not Triggering onKeyDown() callback on CarGame_after example

I just downloaded the Car Game example from this link labelled Air Actions Complete Code.

However when I run this example I don’t see the onKeyDown() event getting triggered on any of the actions defined in the example.

I looked at the FAQ and ensured that the S Pen Racing app was enabled in the Air Actions settings as recommended.

The example code seems to be based on Android 9. Is there anything that has changed since Android 9?

I also noticed that Air Actions are working on other installed and Air Action enabled apps namely: Camera/Samsung Notes/AR Doodle, but not on the other remaining apps: Gallery/Clock/Chrome.
