Pinterest is one of big social giants in the US. It uses its own internal browser to open URLs, which works fine for regular website but not with Badge URL. I’ve contacted Pinterest about it and it went nowhere. Is there something Samsung can do on their end to make Badges work on Pinterest app?
Badge URLs use the .store extension and I assume that Pinterest doesn’t recognize that.
Try a TinyURL and see if that works.

Pinterest doesn’t allow URL shortners and redrectors 
Badges are most effective but you can still use the deeplink URLs
