Change of opacity based on minutes

From 10th to 12th grade I was half high school half tech school, so this was probably one of the advanced maths that I missed

The opacity field has default value 100. If you hover the mouse over that number, in the right part of the field there appears a button to open pop-up window for inserting the expressions with tags.

This is an old subject, but I’m still questioning the solution. In this response, the directions are to click the right side of the COLOR box to bring up Tags field. However, the original question (and my current question) is for the OPACITY field, which does not provide a Tags field when clicking on the right side. Is there an alternate method to enter a Tag in the OPACITY field?

That tag Box is set up to change opacity only . Sadly we can not play with the RGB values . However it can be an amazingly powerful tool . [SEC]%2*100 will flash one second on one second off.

I never us the Opacity of the Image Appearance .

But my point remains unanswered. There is no Tag box in the Opacity field.

Now that I try to follow my old advice, it shows there is no tag button in opacity field of the new analog and digital time elements, while it still is there on other elements. So if you still want to change opacity by tag expression, either use different element class, or if insisting on using these and still wanting to rely on tags, use them on a masking element.

Can you also confirm that there is no Tag button in the Opacity field for the Image element?

Works fine for me .

[SEC]%2*100

.

I appreciate the replies, but I must not be stating my issue correctly. Your example shows [SEC]%2*100 working in the COLOR field. My issue is with the OPACITY field in the IMAGE APPEARANCE section. There does not seem to be a way to get [SEC]%2*100 in the OPACITY field. What am I missing? (Using Watch Face Studio v1.8.10)

Yes you are right . But the point is you can do it with colour opacity . Lots to learn .

I do not know why, but as I stated above, the only elements that can not set the tags for opacity are those two time related ones. Others (images among them) have the option there.

ColorTags

@Mo_Wanchuk Is talking specificaly about the Opacity fot the IMAGE APPEARANCE section. I ever play with any of that. I always use the COLOUR Opacity regardless Tag or no Tag.

Ok, finally I understand the question, I just never tried to search for the option there, once I found it elsewhere.

No one could use all the stuff on WFS . I know you are good at explaining how the preset things work . I always look for a slot to put my Basic Formulas in . Thanks for being there Peter .
