Converting Samsung Notes or S-Note files into other formats

Has anyone had any success with converting the native files of Galaxy Notes (or the older S-Note) into other formats while preserving their original vector data?

Essentially these are very good vector graphics creation tools, but they provide no way to export the original vector data. All export/sharing/saving options other than the native one rasterize the vector information. And no vector editing software that I’ve tried understands how to open the native files (.sdocx or the older .spd).

What I’m hoping to be able to do is convert these files so that they can be worked on further with a tool such as Adobe Illustrator. It’s a shame there is apparently no way to do this currently.

Save to PDF is available in Samsung Notes. PDF is a vector format, just not the most convenient for editing; works to some extent with Inkscape. “Preserving their original vector data” would be nice, usually Export and Save As/To preserve some but not all the data available in the proprietary format.

Exporting to PDF doesn’t work because the drawings are converted to images before exporting.

It would be great if we could export the drawings as SVG.

Hi. This is not a forum for product bug reports, questions or concerns. This forum is for 3rd party developers who create apps for Samsung products.

The Samsung Members App would be a better place for your questions. Good luck.
