I don’t see anywhere in the docs how to develop an app for “ambient mode”.

I’m not sure other than Frame TV if any of the smart TV’s have Ambient Mode I saw a few Reddit questions about why they removed it. If you are sure they have it let me know and I can ask the TV Seller Office. Until then I think all there is, is “are you there” for shutting it off.

I don’t have a Frame TV, I have a QE95QN90B.
The TV has an “Ambient” menu, with all kinds of screensavers, including NFTs from third parties, or built-in ones with weather, time, photos, etc.
I am trying to understand how to make an app for this Ambient section. To create a fully personalized Ambient experience.

No, I see it now …
It’s 5 years old and I don’t see any documentation on the Samsung website, maybe you’re looks like it’s abandoned…
I found a Samsung News release on it that video said it was only available on the 2018 models. After that it changed the concept was Frame TV’s
There must be a way to see when there has been no button press for some time because I get that on my Streaming Service and the “Are you still there” message and it goes to some screen saver mode after so long.
The Frame TV has motion detectors that put the TV in ambient mode to show art

I found something in the Tizen documentation… they didn’t call it ambient move they called it Screensaver and that is why it didn’t come up on a search.

No Ambient and screensavers are two different features.
Ambient is something you manually start by yourself, from a catalog of ambient.
Screensaver is just a regular screensaver like you have on your computer, when idle.
The link you sent is just so that when your app is playing, you want to prevent the screensaver from starting when idle (for example while you watch a movie you wouldn’t want the screensaver to kick in)

Is there any news/findings about Ambient Mode API?
All I could find was how to use it on**QLED TVs and SmartThings** You maybe could program that with SmartThings but I didn’t find any thing with Tizen.
