Galaxy Watch Designer and OSX Catalina/Java

I am trying to run the Galaxy Watch Designer version 2.0.0.

On running it insists I install Java SE 6 runtime, and provides the link.

I download the file, and try to install it and my Max informs me that a newer version of the package is already installed. I can’t go any further.

Not that I know how to, but would I need to remove the new version of Java and install the old version to get GWD to run?
