GWD won't see my new Galaxy Watch

Help::: New watch, Galaxy Watch, upgraded from Gear s3 frontier. GWD won’t seem to connect to my new watch. I have developers mode ON. i held down the power button till it said rebooting, I checked my IP in router and added it manually in GWD, but i still can’t connect. It keeps showing “NO COMPATABLE DEVICE”. I am out of idea’s these were steps posted by r.liechty_SDP. Any help would be appreciated.

You forgot the most important step
Put debugging on and then follow all the steps you mentioned
After when you put in the IP address of the watch and try to connect to it , look out for the RSA key on the watch , it will appear very briefly, I you miss that it will not connect
Hope this helps

I think you also may have not created a new Distributor Certificate for your new watch. Distributor certificates are specific to a device so the certificate for your S3 Frontier won’t work on the new Galaxy Watch.

OH snap, forgot the debugging. Got it working Thanks for the steps.

M… all is well.
PS… I know this is probably NOT where to post, BUT, an eye dropper would be a nice addition to your color picker. Those slider thingy aren’t that good.

you lost me over there, Are you talking about Hue saturation and black control?
Malcolm

yes… those pesky sliders. I just can’t get them to do what i want…I just don’t know how to work them. It would be nice to have a window to put in the color you want. ei,(#FF5733) or just an eyedropper. Thanks for the quick answer, stay well.

On text elements there is field to add color number like you describe. On elements that are inserted as images, there are sliders not to set the color (because images can already have every pixel of different color shade, which one would be there to represent it as a whole?), but to adjust it, change the base in relative, not absolute value. If you can not pull slider to your desired value, you can still write a number directly into the field next to it.

Thanks but I don’t understand… I am now getting " Resourse are not found " can’t figure that one out. HelP:P

This was a known issue on the older version of GWD 1.8.0, I thought it was rectified in 1.8.1,
I am assuming you are using 1.8.1 the latest version
Another issue might be that you have some elements saved on external Hard drive which might not be hooked when you opened that .gwd file
