Health connect sync - no timestamps?

Hello,
I wanted to ask whether it is correct and intentional that Samsung health does not provide exact timestamps when syncing with health connect. For example, all step records have the whole day as a timestamp. Is there a solution? The connection to Health Connect is wonderful and it would be very bad if this were not possible.
